Product Overview: CCI 500 Primers
Some real-world shooting conditions require more aggressive initiation than provided by standard primers. Large cases, cold weather, and certain propellants often require a hotter primer flame and a longer burn. CCI Magnum primers offer you that edge, plus you get all the attributes that make all CCI 500 small pistol primers so great.
They use non-corrosive, non-mercuric initiator blends for the cleanest burn. These are the most widely used primers in reloading formulas. CCI standard primers are exceptionally clean burning, extending pocket cleaning times. That’s huge for progressive reloaders. They are more sensitive and easier to seat than previous CCI primers, and designed for automated feeding. Available in 1000 or 5000 count boxes.
